Gatis Strods

is an experienced graphic designer living and working in Riga, the capital of Lativa. He graduated from the school of polygraphy in 2007 and started to work commercially in graphic design and web design in 2008, turning his lifetime passion into a career. A list of few examples of his successfully completed work is displayed in the portfolio section.

After working in Latvia on many design projects, he expanded his horizons by gaining more experience in graphic design from Middlesex University in London, England. During this period he started writing a blog about his life in London that attracted an enthusiastic Latvian audience.

On returning to Latvia, armed with fresh design skills and ideas (such as a love of ascetic, clean design and rigorous attention to detail), he has worked extensively in web design and development as a freelancer and has used his spare time to help develop a web project based on sport: sportafans.com

He has also launched KurSvinet.lv, a website matching Latvian holiday locations to groups of tourists (e.g. stag and hen weekends). He also has several other startup web projects in the pipeline.

As well as continuing to seek appropriate freelance opportunities, Gatis is actively seeking to assist online startup entrepreneurs by working as a consultant advisor or designer to web projects of mutual interest.
